Animal Science Club Minutes 10/14/09
I. Treasurer’s Report:

II. Ag Carnival Recap
The Ag Carnival was recapped. It was lots of fun and a great bonding experience in the face of rain and competitive teams. Congrats to the freshmen team, the winners of Ag Carnival. As for the auction, we raised $450 for Agribility.
III. Long t-shirts
They are $10. We chose a black shirt with lime green writing. Please pay for the shirt by November 4th or else we will not order a shirt for you.
IV. Halloween Potluck Dinner
This is in place of a regular meeting. It is on Wednesday, October 28th at 5:30 pm at Ally, Marissa, and Amanda’s house (39 Center Street). Costumes are MANDATORY! Ally might be nice and let you in, but just to be safe, bring a costume. Sign Ups will continue next week.
V. Pumpkin Sale
The Pumpkin Sale will be on October 26th (Monday) from 8am-5pm at Trabant. We have agreed, as a club, to help scoop ice cream for UD Dairy from 11am-1pm (they are stationed next to us) in exchange for 50% of their profits. Please come and help during those hours if you can. We will make posters in our committees next week.
VI. Upcoming November Events for ANSC Club
o NC State representative: November 2nd (Monday); details to be determined
o Steve Cook’s Farm: November 7th (Saturday) *Service event
o Rollerblading: November 8th (Sunday)
o Alpaca Farm: November 11th (Wednesday). Leave around 4pm.
o Dairy Industry speaker: November 16th (Monday); Townsend Hall at 7pm.

VII. Announcements
o AgCC is holding a fundraiser at Peace of Pizza next week (Wednesday, October 21st). They are the ones who make Ag Carnival and Ag Day, to name a few, possible. So bring some money with you to the next meeting and we will go get dinner at Peace of Pizza after a short meeting to support AgCC.
